Hot dog with Morbier AOP

6 persons


  • 6 hot dog rolls
  • 6 Frankfurter sausages
  • 6 slices of Morbier AOP
  • 1 white onion
  • 20g unsalted butter
  • Ketchup
  • Mustard

Step 1

Cut the hot dog rolls lengthwise and warm them under the grill for a few minutes.

Step 2

Slice the onion finely and fry it with a knob of butter.

Step 3

Bring a large pan of water to the boil, when the water is boiling, cook the Frankfurters for 3 minutes.

Step 4

Fill each hot dog roll with a sausage, some caramelised onions and a slice of Morbier, cut into strips.

Step 5

Grill for a few minutes until the Morbier is melted.
